The greatest advantage of solid wood bar stools lies in their natural wood grain and varied natural colors. Since solid wood is a constantly "breathing" organic material, it is recommended to place them in an environment with appropriate temperature and humidity. Avoid placing beverages, chemicals, or excessively hot objects on the surface to prevent damage to the natural color of the wood. For laminate materials, when there is significant dirt, it is recommended to wipe the surface with a diluted neutral detergent and warm water, then wipe with clean water. Remember to wipe away any remaining water stains with a soft, dry cloth. After completely drying, apply furniture polish to complete the process. Only by paying attention to daily cleaning and maintenance can wooden furniture remain beautiful for a long time.
For fabric bar stools, spray them with a fabric protector after purchase for protection. For daily maintenance, pat the fabric with a dry towel and vacuum at least once a week, paying particular attention to removing dust from between the structural components. When the fabric surface is stained, wipe it from the outside in with a clean cloth dampened with water, or use a fabric cleaner according to the instructions. Avoid sitting on the sofa with sweat, water stains, or dirt on your clothes. It is recommended that you check with the furniture retailer regarding the washing instructions for the fabric covers and cushions, as some may have special washing requirements. If you find loose threads, do not pull them off; use scissors to neatly cut them. All fabric covers should be dry-cleaned, not machine-washed, and never bleached.
Bar stools with electroplated bases should not be placed in damp places and should not be wiped with a wet cloth, especially not with soapy water or detergent. The base should be kept away from substances such as hydrochloric acid, salt, and brine, and should not be placed in areas exposed to soot. If the electroplated base rusts, apply machine oil to the rusted area with a brush or cotton swab. After about 10 minutes, wipe back and forth several times to remove the rust.
